We just installed these split bow rails for skiff.  These low profile aluminum rails were custom built specifically for this boat.  Every boat bow rail and stern rail that High Speed Welding fabricates are custom built.  Every boat is a little bit different, so it’s important to have the boat at our Wilmington, NC location.

The bow rails are installed with stainless steel hardware and 4000 marine adhesive.  The pipe we use is 1″ schedule 40, so it measures 1.25″ on the outside.  Anodized aluminum is polished and will not rust, chip, or corrode like stainless steel bow rails.  Aluminum bow rails are more shiny than stainless steel, as well.  These rails are 5″ tall, but we can make them any desired height.  The verticals are straight up, but sometimes we position those at a 35 degree angle, so that it looks a little more stylish and fits with the aesthetics of your boat.
